Acadia Hospital Wish Tree Receives Generous Donation
Acadia Hospital employees are spreading holiday cheer this year by carrying on what has become an annual tradition – the Acadia Hospital Wish Tree. The tree features wish tags for items that patients and/or departments request as gifts. These items, which are for adult and pediatric patients, may be for essentials such as hats and coats; or the little things that can make a stay in the hospital more pleasant, including games and toys.

Acadia Hospital Welcomes New Medical Administrator John J. Campbell, MD, FANPA
John J. Campbell, MD, FANPA has joined Acadia Hospital as its chief medical informatics officer (CMIO) and director of community services. Dr. Campbell’s primary duties as CMIO include ensuring seamless and efficient use of the electronic health record, while his work with community services will focus on continuing to provide convenient, affordable and effective behavioral healthcare to our communities.

Bangor, ME – On Friday, September 23, approximately 400 people danced the night away while supporting Acadia Hospital pediatric services. The fifth annual Acadia Hospital Foundation Battle of the Bands returned to the Cross Insurance Center for another evening of fun and friendly competition.
