Seamless Continuum of Care
As a hospital we treat our clients at different levels of care based on clinical appropriateness, the desire of the family and input from referring providers.
We also understand and value the need to maintain a connection with the client’s other care team members, with the ultimate goal of returning the client to their original providers.
We make every effort to collaborate on a course of care. With guardian permission we will share clinical information including treatment changes and discharge plans.
Services Tailored for the Client
All of our youth programs support the needs of the client and his or her family through medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, education and support. The client’s care is directed by a psychiatrist.
—Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is done within 48 hours of the referral call. Ongoing medication management, individual, family and group therapy are available as needed following the evaluation.
This level of care is ideal for clarifying the current factors causing the person difficulty at home or school, and for providing psychiatric expertise to address these concerns.
Intensive Psychiatric Treatment
—(Intensive Outpatient Program/Partial Hospitalization)—Multi-disciplinary, milieu-based treatment addressing both mental health and substance abuse conditions, with hours tailored to best meet the needs of the client and his or her family.
In addition, the program offers a school component as well as occupational therapy evaluation and treatment.
These programs address clients who are experiencing intensive psychiatric symptoms causing disruption academically, socially and within themselves. This level of care keeps the person engaged in his or her daily routine while improving symptoms and disruptive behaviors. Our summer and after-school programs offer creative approaches to achieve these goals.
—Our secure and highly staffed environment offers short-term stabilization in a safe, warm and caring setting.
