Scott Oxley Named Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Acadia Hospital

Bangor, Me—Acadia Hospital president and chief executive officer, Daniel Coffey, announced that Scott Oxley has been selected to be vice president and chief operating officer for Acadia Hospital and Acadia Healthcare.
Oxley’s operational oversight will include direct reports responsible for facilities and environmental services, information systems, planning and business development, outcome measurement and analytics, performance improvement, compliance, and adult outpatient services and clinics. 
According to Coffey, “Scott’s past experience positions him particularly well to assist Acadia in more quickly advancing growth initiatives to respond to regional demand for integrated psychiatric and mental health services and steering many projects now underway. I have an extensive history of working with Scott and I am pleased he is joining our leadership team.”
Oxley has had a long and distinguished career with EMHS. Since his arrival to EMHS in 1993, he has held a number of executive oversight positions in the areas of financial services, revenue cycle, supply chain and real estate management. In addition, Oxley served as a key contributor in the clinical and financial improvement plan for the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital in the 2009-2010 timeframe. Most recently, since 2013, he has served as President of Affiliated Healthcare Systems where he has systematically restructured the many business lines through investment, joint venture partnership or divestiture.  Oxley’s broad business and clinical experiences will be of great value to Acadia Hospital.
